Quilt Repair and Restoration
BEFORE
A customer brought this quilt to me in the hope I could repair it. It was made by her grandmother. Unfortunately there was to much damage. What I was able to give her were two really nice table runners. I cut the good blocks out and repaired them and attached them together with new backing and binding. She plans on giving them to her two daughters someday.

Quilt Repair and Restoration

If you have a quilt that has been damaged I can repair or restore it for you. I have been doing quilt restoration for over ten years. In most cases you will not be able to find the repair unless you knew where it was. This is rewarding work but takes quite a while. I charge by the job. In other words I really need to see the damage before I can quote a price. The price quote is free. I would need to see either photos or the actual quilt. Please remember that badly worn or damaged quilts most likely cannot be repaired. I am always happy to look at a quilt but I will tell you honestly if your quilt is worth repairing. It can also take me a while to locate fabric if I do not have it in my vintage fabric collection.

In addition I offer longarm quilting, quilt binding, custom t-shirt quilts, bereavement quilts, football quilts, memorial quilts and quilts made from ties. For a small fee we provide pick up and delivery in the greater Portland/ Oregon,Vancouver Washington area. If you are outside this area we also offer shipping.
