| I made this bereavement quilt for a dear friend who's 17 year old son died. It is made from just a few articles of his clothing. I put a soft flannel back on it. She loves it and finds comfort wrapped up in it. |
This bereavement quilt is mine. It is made from a pair of my fathers favorite pajamas. He loved the Irish chain pattern as he came from an Irish heritage. I wanted to quilt it heavily so it will last for generations. I used straight lines and curves to give the quilt an heirloom feel. This is part of my journey through grief that I wanted to share with all of you. Nora
